  • Last month, Ashoka and the Fit for Life Foundation hosted the Healthy Living and Longevity Summit in Madrid. This event brought together social innovators, strategic thought partners, and other stakeholders in the field of longevity to collaborate on system change solutions and explore new architecture for longevity.   • The Yale School of Management is launching the Experienced Leaders Initiative, a new program designed for mid-career changemakers eager to embark on a three-way hybrid learning journey. Ashoka Fellow Marc Freedman, who is a leading advocate of "encore education," will serve as a faculty co-director.   • Andrew J. Scott, author of The 100-Year Life and The Longevity Imperative, discusses with Ellen Feehan at the Mckinsey Health Institute the necessary actions across public, private, and social sectors to stimulate what he calls an "evergreen economy." Join the conversation.

 

  • Sweden has passed a new law allowing paid parental leave to be transferred to grandparents and other caregivers. Single parents can now transfer up to 90 days of paid leave, while parental couples can transfer upto 45 days. Read more.
