Age-Friendly Cities: Reimagining Our 21st Century Life, Work and Community  

This year, GCOA partners with Greater Manchester, one of the most successful age-friendly cities in the world. The event will focus on the critical role of age-friendly cities in reimagining 21st-century life, work, and communities as integral to the expansion of the silver economy. The Forum will bring together businesses, government, civil society, MLOs, and other stakeholders to address how to best support and advance inclusive, engaged, energetic, and financially sustainable urban environments that benefit everyone.

We will examine how all stakeholders are evolving to meet the needs of an aging population and how they are working together to achieve their goals.  In our current global demographic environment, building and sustaining age-friendly cities fosters growth, creates new business opportunities, leverages the talent and engagement of the entire population, works to keep people healthy, and serves as a model for all sectors of society.
