Age-Friendly Futures Summit: Advancing, leading and creating city regions and communities for an age-friendly world.
This dynamic three-day summit will host a series of meetings bringing together around 200 leaders, policymakers, practitioners and researchers, from the UK and around the globe, to advance the creation of an age-friendly world.
The Age-Friendly Futures Summit aims to strengthen commitment, showcase best practice and foster collaboration through panels, workshops and networking opportunities. It will feature cutting edge research, policy and practice in ageing from Greater Manchester, the UK and globally.
It will also see the launch of the Centre for Ageing Better’s landmark publication ‘State of Ageing 2025’ an in-depth exploration of England’s older population, and the significant disparities between how people from different places and regions experience getting older.
